Pi showcases fast-to-market control systems capabilities

Pi Technology, the automotive control systems design organisation, will be demonstrating its latest technologies in X by wire, systems test and rapid prototyping at Engine & Test Expo in Stuttgart, 14-16 May.

On display will be Pi’s shift by wire and rapid prototyping demonstrator, Project Slinky, which attracted considerable interest during the SAE Expo in Detroit earlier this year. Pi will also present its Pi AutoSim product range for system-level hardware-in-the-loop testing and will preview its leading-edge work with production autocode for rapid development, used by Th!nk Technologies on the 2004 Ford Focus FCV hybrid vehicle.

Julian Styles, Business Development Manager, Pi Technology said: "Time-to-market remains a big issue for everyone in the auto industry. We are presenting new ways to cut the development and validation time for the increasingly complex control systems demanded by automakers worldwide."
