4:22 p.m. – Running – Lap 101 – Car #20 Dyson R&S into pits for fuel and tyres, Schroeder takes the wheel. #27 Dallara takes over third place.

4:24 p.m. – Running – Lap 103 – Robby Gordon takes over in the #36 R&S.

4:26 p.m. – Running – Lap 104 - # 74 R&S goes behind the wall, showing high temperatures, crew wants to fix any problem before it becomes a major problem. tyres and fuel for the #90 Corvette, John Metcalf steps in.

4:28 p.m. – Running – Lap 105 - #03 Marcos Mantis goes behind the wall. Tony Stewart relieved by Johnny Mowlen in the #2 Crawford.

4:30 p.m. – Running – Lap 106 – Running second in AGT, the #29 Mustang spins out in turn 5 the infield. Two minute penalty to #31 Saleen for going too slow in the fast pit lane.

4:38 p.m. – Running – Lap 110 - # 27 Dallara changes drivers Mauro Baldi steps in. The #08 Marcos took on fuel and tyres.

4:41 p.m. – Running – Lap 112 – The #89 Lola spins out in the infield. The #09 Corvette in the pits for tyres, fuel, and driver change (Andy Pilgrim).

4:43 p.m. – Running – Lap 113 – The #00 Porsche takes tyres and fuel in the pits.

4:49 p.m. – Running – Lap 116 – Car #24 Mosler in the pits for tyres and fuel, working on right rear.

4:50 p.m. – Running – Lap 117 – Battle for the race lead. The #36 R&S tails the #13 Ferrari by .157 seconds. #30 Lola takes tyres and fuel, Clint Field takes over.

4:51 p.m. – Running – Lap 118 – Leader #13 pits for fuel.

4:59 p.m. – Full Course Caution – Lap 122- The #07 hits the wall coming out of turn 8. The #3 Jaguar pits for fuel and tyres. The #62 Mazda stops in the apron on turn 4.

5:03 p.m. – Under Caution – Lap 123 – The #83 Saleen goes behind the wall.
