The two Ferrari entrants had decidedly mixed results from qualifying. The Prodrive 550 Maranello had a steady run with Rydell taking to the track on slicks as it started to rain. No real drama for the experienced forner BTCC Champion as the Dave Price managed effort comfortably posted a time of 1:21.494 for 20th on the grid, 5th in class.

The brand new MSB 360 Modena developed a slight misfire as Marino Franchitti was starting his quick laps. While the final position on the grid is far away from the factory BMW teams and Alex Job Porsches, Franchitti is right in the middle of a herd of Porsche GT-3RSs. The GT Brat commented after the session that the Modena is such a new car, there is much to learn first about what it can do.

And at this point, after the posting of a prodigious amount of material on the first three days of the meeting, we're almost ready to go with race coverage. Well done all those TMS people at Road Atlanta. You have the thanks of a lot of grateful readers...and one Editor.
