Hans-Jorg Hofer noted that an engine failure was not something his team has had to contend with before. At this point, they don’t know exactly what went wrong. “It might be a valve but we don’t know right now.” Hans-Jorg Hofer had family visit with him for this race. While the end result was not as desired, the smiles in this photo, taken earlier in the event, are unmistakable!
