Lexington, Ohio, USA--They did it again. Jan Magnussen spun another one of his celebratory 'donuts' out in the esses here at Mid-Ohio as Panoz again beat the Joest Audi R8s. Rinaldo Capello, less than one second back when the course went from green to yellow with about a half hour to go, could not overhaul the flying Panoz. James Weaver and Butch Leitzinger captured Dyson Racing's first ALMS podium since 1999.

Dick Barbour Racing got yet another LMP 675 class win over the one-lap-down KnightHawk Racing Lola. Neither other car in the 675 field was a factor in the race.

Corvette overcame the jinx of too many cheering supporters, sweeping first and second from the chasing Konrad Saleen S7R. That fourth straight win may well wrap up the GTS team and manufacturer's championship for the yellow C5-Rs.

Schnitzer BMW Motorsport swept first and second in GT, and appeared to be followed home by two Alex Job Porsches, until the #23 car retired with a broken half shaft just five minutes before the end of the race. That yielded the fourth position to PTG's #10 car.

Complete report later. This was another absolutely cracking motor race - now, who does that sound like?
